Good health is accepted as normal by most people who live in developed countries. This is caused by better standards of prenatal and child care, hygiene, nutrition and preventive medicine. Unfortunately, many people take good health for granted and don’t treat their bodies with care and consideration. Maybe the biggest problem of our society is obesity. Most people tend to eat too much fat meat, such as hamburgers from the fast food like Mc Donald, sugar or starch. Two ways existed to prevent and solve this problem ant to keep fit. The first one is a diet. A balanced diet containing the basic food types such as proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates and fluids is essential for good growth, development and health. Next one is exercise. The best form of exercise to avoid putting on weight and keeping the heart and blood vessels healthy are swimming, skiing, dancing, cycling or active walking.
